The golf course at Highland Woods is a sporty design that is enjoyable and challenging for players at all levels.  Designed by architect Gordon Lewis, the course features 82 bunkers, 20 acres of natural palmetto preserves and 29 acres of lakes.

Since opening in 1994, the course has undergone many improvements while maintaining the integrity of the original design.  The most recent renovation was completed in late 2015 and included new grass on the fairways, tees and greens.  The course consists of Celebration Bermuda on the tees (height of cut .500"), Celebration Bermuda on the fairways (height of cut .700"), 419 Bermuda on the roughs (height of cut 1.750") and Tifeagle on the greens (height of cut .145). *Subject to weather condition

Course facilities include a large aqua driving range; a chipping/putting practice area with three bunkers; and an additional putting green.

There is a wide range of golf activities, from the competitive to the social:  women's and men's leagues, charity tournaments, member/guest events, clinics, Play with the Pro opportunities and much more.
